It depends on the bundle. Machine Only ships the soda maker with a 1L and a 0.5L BPA-free bottle. The Starter Kit adds a CO₂ cylinder good for up to 60L of sparkling water. The Family Pack doubles up: two 1L and two 0.5L bottles plus two cylinders — around 120L of fizz out of the box.
Machine Only suits you if you already own screw-in cylinders and bottles. The Starter Kit is the easiest way to begin — machine, bottles and gas in one order. The Family Pack is for bigger households and daily drinkers: double the bottles and double the gas, so your first refill is weeks further away.
No. Sparkling Mate machines are fully mechanical — the carbonating power comes from the pressure in the CO₂ cylinder itself. No plug, no charging, which is why it works on any kitchen counter, in the office, or at the beach house.
You have four bubble levels to play with. Use short presses rather than one long push — you get the same fizz with less gas. Cold liquid also carbonates noticeably better, so chill it first.
Water, juice, mocktails — fizz what you like; that's what the machine is built for. After carbonating anything sugary, give the bottle and the nozzle a quick rinse so the valve stays clean.
Each cylinder holds 410g of CO₂ — enough for up to 60 litres at a light fizz, or around 40 litres if you like it sharp. For a household drinking a litre or two a day, that's roughly four to six weeks.
Order a refill swap for AED 55 and a driver brings a freshly filled, pressure-tested cylinder to your door, taking your empty in the same visit. You only ever pay for the gas — the steel comes back to our facility, gets inspected and refilled, and goes out again. A swap can also ride along with any other delivery.
Refill swaps are for Sparkling Mate cylinders only. If you own another brand's screw-in cylinder, use the Switch to Sparkling Mate trade-in (AED 70): hand your old cylinder to the driver and you get a full Sparkling Mate one that stays in our swap programme from then on.
Any machine with the standard EU/US screw-in thread — Sparkling Mate, DrinkMate, Aarke, Spirit, Bubble Bro, Crystal, Jet, One Touch, GoZero, and older screw-in SodaStream models. They don't fit SodaStream's Quick Connect machines (Terra, Art, Duo), which use a different system.
The first sign is fizz fading even after extra presses. To be sure, weigh it: a full cylinder is about 1.1–1.3 kg, while the empty steel body alone weighs 750–800g. If it's near the empty weight, order your swap.
Every cylinder is filled with certified E290 food-grade CO₂ meeting European food and beverage production standards. We don't decant gas from bulk tanks like most refillers — our digital-precision machine converts liquid CO₂ into food-grade gas, a filling setup you won't find anywhere else in the UAE. Each cylinder is then inspected, weighed, sealed and pressure-tested by certified technicians.
Perfectly safe when treated right. Keep cylinders upright in a dry spot at room temperature, away from direct heat. Never pierce a cylinder or try to refill it yourself, and keep them out of children's reach.
Keep one spare at home: one cylinder in the machine, one full and ready to swap. Or let a refill plan handle it — deliveries arrive on your schedule with a subscriber discount, and you can pause or cancel anytime.

Two years on every machine, covering the carbonation mechanism, valves, and seals. If something fails under normal use we repair or replace it — collected and redelivered at no charge.
The machine body only ever touches water vapour, so a wipe-down with a damp cloth is all it needs — never submerge it. Hand-wash the bottles with warm (not hot) soapy water; dishwasher heat can deform pressure-rated PET bottles.
Three quick checks: make sure the cylinder is screwed in tightly, use properly chilled water, and weigh the cylinder to rule out an empty one. If it still won't sparkle, talk to support — if the machine is at fault, the warranty has you covered.

You have a 30-day return window. Once we collect the item, your refund goes back to the original payment method within 3–5 business days. Subscription credit is refunded pro-rata on cancellation.
